Okay, ma cheries, some of you might know that I've been wanting to get a new camera "next year".

Well, this is next year.

This is not a want, it is a need. Good grief.

I had been using a 4 megapixel camera for ages and you know how pretty it looks.

AND THEN IT DIED. (I'm using a loaner right now. Technically it's a camera I got for my parents to use.)

Okay, it didn't die, it just did the thing where it over exposed everything due to a particular thing in the camera where it isn't reliable with Singapore's climate and thus that little bit of thing got done away with the "upgraded" version of the camera for here.

Yes, anyway... I can't keep fixing the camera with the same problem over and over especially when it costs a hundred or so every time.

RIGHT. So... I think this camera is freaking sexy. There's no other way to describe it except "sexy". It's... so hot, all sleek with a smooth black exterior.

And not cheap too!

BLAAAAAAAAAR.

Or this. A Canon ixus 95 for one third the price of the sexy one.

OH MEIN GOTT. The sexy one has manual controls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It warrants the abuse of exclamation marks. Crap. I used to go "Do I need to make a poster?" when figuring cameras but now most cameras are past the whole 4 megapix stuff. Still, if I do the whole "Do I need to make a poster?" question thing, this time... I have no idea what to answer.

Actually, I might! Well, not a poster, don't be ridiculous, I'll use a DSLR for that buuuuuuut, I might be using it for print. In a book. So yes, both of the above have just enough "size" to make good prints. Guuuh. Manual controls = sexy controls. Alright by the way, I use my camera almost every day (when it didn't spoil) so let's do the thing that I did for my shoes. 600/365 = $1.64 a day. 305/365 = $0.84 a day.

Great. I can actually afford them both. Well, if I'm going for the $600 one, I'll only buy it in February and use the loaner I have because the loaner I got my parents are pretty much near the specs to the $300 one only, uh bigger in size. I can buy it now but I'll feel MUCH better if I buy it in February when I have more buffer money to do so.

And thus by the time I finished this post, I have a decision on what to do. Get the $600 one but only in February (or March?) and use the loaner in the mean time. Oh yes, I AM the sort that knows how to use manual controls so this would be niiiiiiiiiiice. Also, I linked to that ebay user because he has a shop in City Hall. It's actually those shops that stock up to distribute other shops?? Hence the cheaper price in a way. I could go to it and buy but then why do that when I can get an increase of my own ebay ratings too eh? HUR HUR.

So it's 2010..that feels so weird-


I went and got some new icons, and blah. I don't REALLY have anythign to write about. Christmas was event full, my leg is all better-despite me hitting it in the same spot on the corner of my dresser the other day. I can't wait to start school again, and now i have to start looking for another job because this one is so boring I can't even take it.

I'm having a slight scare right now, btu its super personal so I'll just say "ITS OVER YAY!" or whatever when its over. <3

New years and cosplay was amazing, and now this Saturday I'm going otu with friends. I feel like I WIN!


Also, I know I don't comment alot on other peoples journals, but I usually read almost all of them. And if not at least skim. I'm just lazy and my computer is slow and the mix of both of those together just makes me not want to comment and make my computer lag/cry slightly. So, fret not! I still love you all.

SO THUS. I got a pair of $156 (but in the end it's $140.40 cause there was a discount if I used a credit card [[I don't have a credit card but I have a debit that fakes to be credit]) multisport North Face men's cut size 8 shoes. Yeah, I'm descriptive so I know what I got when I look at this post when they die or something.



Wooo.



Yes, ultra friction, you can notice the cut of the sole there, so let's see how it goes and how long these shoes will last!

One of my (SEKRIT!PRIVATED ON LJ! LOL!) New Year's Resolutions was to make a post about my Merlin Sticker Book collection!

Unfortunately, I don't really have a lot of stickers to trade. O.o; I have NO IDEA HOW THIS HAPPENED. I got thirty (I counted them!) sticker packets along with my beloved book for Christmas and I only have... get this... two doubles. WTF.

I think I either got incredibly lucky... OR NOT. Because now I don't have a whole lot to trade with? *laughs!* Anyway, I can still keep a list of the stickers I still need! Here it is:

The ones I have for trade are: 40 & C12! ^^; I know that's quite pathetic, haha. I'd be willing to buy individual stickers if you have any I need, though... I really need to get all of the Mirror Stickers because you cannot order those from the Merlin (LOL!) website.

Since I don't do that 2009 meme but some of you are curious and stuff. I shall just write it down in points.


- I really want cute underwear.
- I don't drink/do drugs except Panadol and only when it hurts and oww?
- Adventuuuuuuuuure.
- You know 2009 was the year of realization that I am possibly/could be awesome.
- 2010 is going to be the year awesome.
- I bought a LOT of clothes compared to ANY other years. Due to Uniqlo. Note how I like plain-nness.
- I hid behind a lot of stuff.
- It's comedy hour every second on my Twitter.
- I did the most lamest punniest joke on lysistarielle on the last day of 2009. (She said that she didn't have any degrees after we were talking about education stuff at our semi party thing yesterday and I told her yes she did and she had two on her face. Yes, it was super lame since she was wearing glasses, you see.)
- Relationship status is like Harley Quinn, Gotham City Sirens version.
- People know know me.
- I have secret fans. (This is uhhh semi weird since my f-list is the one who usually has fans. Also secret cause... Well, I know there ARE more and they've said to me bla bla and yet it's somewhat quite in comments except for email. Geeeeeeeee.).
- I am never going to be a good minion and instead something silly fun.
- I gave up on using common logic when it doesn't work. Sarah logic works and it will be done.
- Not everyone is that focused and my plans are pretty insane then cause I can see the climate and whatever junk bla is needed. Ironic since focused + silliness = woahness.
- I was in technically most of the productions in secret for the past decade that won stuff. If there was some weird version of the academy awards or whatever junk like that for indie stuff, I would be going up with quite a bunch of separate groups and that would look embarrasiiiing.
- And yet I don't put it MUCH in my "written" stats because I wanna put other things in it.
- Except when I'm filling out grants. Duh.
- Seriously, secret cameos, if you think it's me but naaah, it's probably me.
- I am ridiculous and that is my gift and my curse.
